We all know being proactive is advantageous in most situations and preventing or fighting a cold is no different. Here are some crazy good foods that will aid you in this battle as noted from Health:

- Citrus fruits – Vitamin C is believed to reduce the duration of a cold
- Fennel tea – a natural expectorant will clear chest and soothe coughs
- Yogurt/kefir – contains good bugs – probiotics

These would be my additions:
- Ingest coconut oil and coconut water as they are loaded with too many amazing qualities to list that would aid in preventing/fighting a cold
- I would also recommend steering clear of processed foods. They just aren’t good for you ANY TIME!
- Drink lots and lots of water!
- Use a saline spray to keep your nasal passages clear.
- Eat local honey EVERY day – put it on toast or in your beverage~
- REST!
As always, here is to your best health…naturally~
