Every time Halloween rolls around I remember, with fondness, a Halloween party our family hosted some years ago!  My Mother, sister, daughter and son had so much fun planning and preparing for it.  Even the Golden Retrievers helped! 😉  It provided us with quality family time that we will never forget.

We did it all…from the carving of the pumpkins to the food preparations to the decorations inside and outside!

This just goes to show that you don’t have to be a kid, have a kid or leave the homestead to enjoy Halloween!  Not at all~

Happy Mother’s Day to two of the most beautiful women (inside and out) ever!  Yes, these are our Mothers…our best friends!

They exemplify true beauty, inner strength and unfaltering faith.

We are so very thankful for these two women and the many sacrifices they made, and continue to make,  for their families.  Thank you for all of the life lessons, your guidance and for loving us no matter what!

You two have been our candles and we are blessed to be able to call you our Mothers!
