Embracing the simple life, body and soul, sums up my current state of being. I haven’t always been this way but as I have matured I have come to realize that it is in simplicity we find true joy, peace and love.
Life, this day and time, is all about materialism. Living the “high maintenance” lifestyle has never been a true ‘fit’ for me, no matter how hard I tried. I have always been more about comfort than looks (did I say that out loud???) and more about honesty than pretense. My family, and time spent with them, is my focus. They, not things, bring true happiness to my life.
And there you have it. I am just a down-to-earth Southern lady who wants to share her thoughts and experiences acquired by living an unpretentious life with those interested.
